FIRST COMPETITION OF 2019 IN THE BOOKS = SUCCESS FOR THE CBJJS COMBAT CREW

Grappling Industries Denver 2019 Round Robin Tournament – We earned your medals! The first Jiu Jitsu competition of 2019 is in the books. Colorado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Stapleton sent a Combat Crew to the Grappling Industries Denver 2019 Round Robin Tournament held at the Foothills Field House, on Saturday, January 12, 2019: The results were outstanding with the BJJ Stapleton Ladies leading the way! Stephanie Taylor made the podium in each of the three divisions in which she competed earning 2 Golds and a Silver, as well as putting on a fight of the tournament performance to win the Gold in her Gi division with a last second guard pass (amazing). Nicole Chiantello, competing in her first ever BJJ tournament, earned a first place Gold Medal spot on the podium with a brilliant performance, dominating multiple matches with takedowns and submissions aplenty. Win, lose or draw, we are proud of every BJJ Stapleton athlete who stepped on the mat and competed at the Grappling Industries Denver 2019 Round Robin Tournament. Way to go Colorado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Stapleton!
